In 1969 Deep Purple premiered Jon Lords groundbreaking Concerto For Group And Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall. Thirty years later, in September 1999, Deep Purple and the London Symphony Orchestra returned to the same venue for the concertos second performance. The centrepiece of the concert is of course the concerto itself but it is preceded by a short set of other Jon Lord tracks, songs from Roger Glovers Butterfly Ball sung by Ronnie James Dio and Ian Paices jazz arrangement of the early Purple classic Wring That Neck.
