Deep Purple didn't play at Paris theatre, London 22nd February 1972. "Ian Gillan" misspelled "Ian Gillian" on transparent cover. "I'm A Racer" is actually "Emeretta". The cover claims that A1 to A3 where recorded live at BBC in August 1969. This is impossible for A3 as this song was not composed before 1971. For A1 and A2 it seems incorrect, too. A5 "Ricochet" is an early version of Speed King and presumably is the only song on this record which was recorded live August 1969.
Given the many opportunities I had to buy this record, I wouldn't bet on it being really limited to only 500 copys.

It was recorded on 22 May 1974 at Gaumont State Theatre in Kilburn, London by the BBC for radio broadcast, but was unreleased on vinyl until 1982. It features the Mk 3 lineup of BlackmoreCoverdaleHughesLordPaice during the tour for their album Burn. At one point during the album, keyboardist Jon Lord jokingly refers to himself as Rick Emerson while introducing the band. This is a combination of the first and last name of the keyboardists for. Live at the BBC is a live compilation album by the British rock band Slade. It was released by Salvo in September 2009 and features two discs of material recorded by the band live at the BBC. The first disc comprises songs recorded for various BBC sessions between 1969-72, along with Radio One jingles recorded in 1973-74. The second disc is a twelve-song set recorded live at the Paris Theatre, London, in August 1972. The additional tracks seem remarkably inappropriate to me because the main material is a live Paris Theatre London performance on March 9, 1972, of Machine Head material, the new album at the time, whereas the additional tracks were performed in the studio by a different, earlier lineup Deep Purple MK I. "I'm a racer- Emeretta"; "Ricochet- Kneel and Pray"; Good Grief! It reminds me on "Ouhdi midislov" ("All you Need is love ") to my childhood ears or reading lyric sheets added to Japanese editions of classic albums. Absolut ridiculous. The skip on "Strange Kind of Woman" was reason enough for me to return the item. The announced "Limited Edition of 500" i think (and agree with fireball67) is fake as well. After mostly 5 years now there are still sealed items for sale, and that is for all B 13 releases. So my first exitement, regarding the unique design of the issues, was rapidly decreasing and i don't think they'll ever be collectors items.

It looks like this is taken from a CD mentioned here, 3rd down, http://community.fortunecity.ws/tinpan/rumba/159/bootpix3/bootpix3.html . It says "The first song (which they called I'm a racer) is nothing else but Emmaretta. The recording seems to be taken from a vinyl record, you can hear some cracks. Speed King has backing vocals and piano lines that you don't find on the regular cut. What they call Ricochet is actually "Kneel And Pray", the early version of Speed King, with had different vocals to SK. The end of the song is cut off. Actually these three pieces seem to be the very same recordings than on the "Tour De Force" CD. Nevertheless, the sound quality is very good.Same goes for the next section, the live recordings from London, very good sound quality. "Highway Star" has a slightly different solo. I don't know where they took this from, but SKOW *skips* at one spot, like an old vinyl (but there's no scratching though), I have no clue..... Ian and Ritchie are doing the legandary "duel" here. Between these two songs there's no cut, so they must be from the same gig. SOTW is definitely taken from a vinyl record, you can't miss the scratches and bumps. Ritchie is having little problems with his solo. Some nice extra organ/guitar duel at the end. "Never Before" sounds brilliant and fresh. There's no cut between "Leo" and "Lazy". "Lucille" is pretty nice and powerful. It could be taken from a radio broadcast, because at the fade out you can hear something that sounds like a DJ speaking. "

I have my doubts that this is something official and that it is really limited to 500. First I myself have seen at least 10 issues of this record in different stores and on different record fairs. Second - The transparent cover names Ian GILLIAN as vocalist. A typical bootleg-error in my opinion.

I agree with you, secondly, the country of release is Russia, which is suspicious, and the track "I'm Racer", never heard of this song.
