Inside Liner Notes: "When the World Was Young" is comprised of ten all new ambient dronescapes by Dave Luxton, an electronic musician, guitarist, composer, and producer who lives in Olympia, Washington. USA. These pieces reflect Dave's strength in generating myriads of soundscapes that balance tension and repose that, collectively, trigger unique emotional journeys among listeners. "When the World Was Young's" oscillating and evocative layers of sound will inspire listeners imaginations and take them on a meditative sojourn. Dave Luxton has been creating and recording music for more than 20 years. "When the World Was Young" marks his sixth full length studio album and fourth ambient music album. He founded the Wayfarer Records label in 2007, and has produced several albums for other artists. His other musical efforts include his Electronica band EchoHALO, which released its debut album in 2009, and multiple film scores.
