Arctic Thunder was recorded at our old rehearsal place from 1988-1990, 400 meters away from Creative Studios where 'A Blaze In The Northern Sky' and 'Under A Funeral Moon' were recorded. Vocals done in Porsgrunn (Thanx Anders I Nod)

Arctic Thunder was recorded in late 2015. The Rehearsal place is called The Bomb Shelter. Additional recordings in Skien, 2016. Being back in Bombercommet would not be possible without Nicklas Erdal, Morten Bjarkeid, Bjorn Bukholm.

The first single from the album was Tundra Leech. The album was named after a Norwegian metal band, active from 1985 to 1989. Darkthrone received permission to use the name.
