Released in matt sleeve with 2 colour printed lyric inner sleeves.
The track "Strange Attraction" (Record 1, Side 2) has a flaw in the middle of the song (at around 1:36), there is a split second missing (no silence). It must be a manufacturing flaw, it's only on this European pressing of this album.

Short intro

Wild Mood Swings is the tenth studio album by British alternative rock band the Cure, released on 7 May 1996 through record label Fiction. Robert Smith has gone on record to say, It's one of my top five favourite Cure albums. Wild Mood Swings charted at number nine in the UK Albums Chart, staying on chart for six weeks, and charted at number 12 in the US Billboard 200. Four singles were released from the album, the first being The 13th, released in April 1996, followed by Mint Car released in. Wild Mood Swings - The Cure. As the title suggests, there's a vast array of textures and emotions on Wild Mood Swings, from the woozy mariachi lounge horns of The 13th to the perfect pop of Mint Car and the monolithic dirge of Want. In between the extremes, Robert Smith and the Cure - which now feature a radically reworked lineup, with several key players from Wish now missing - explore some simpler territory, from contemplative acoustic numbers tinged with strings to swooning neo-psychedelia. Wild Mood Swings is the Cures tenth studio album. Despite being certified Gold in less than two months in the US, it was their first not to exceed the sales of its previous albums and has not been certified Gold in the UK like their previous four albums. After touring the world for Wish, three members quit the group, leaving only founding member Robert Smith and recently-added keyboardist Parry Bamonte. Before, such a thought did not even touch on my head I ignored the other four. But on making the album this time, I talked about various subjects with them, seriously listening to what and how they were thinking. It seems quite strange to sing what is utterly not from my mind. There comes a time in every music collectors life when they come to the end of the discography. This happened a few weeks ago when I stumbled upon the Cures Wild Mood Swings. Having heard nothing but bad things, and the song Mint Car which wasnt at all what I expected from the Cure as a first single, I was reluctant to part with the 5, but for the sake of completion, I thought Id better. Imagine my surprise when I heard opening song Want. This is everything the Cure did well. The drawn out intro, the whiny vocals, the epic synth strings, and the climax at the end. Wild Mood Swings is the 10th studio album of The Cure. While the album sold over 1 million copies worldwide it was deeply maligned by some Cure fans for its shift towards the alternative rock sound of the mid 90's. Vocalist and Cure founder Robert Smith has stated that despite Wild Mood Swings lack of critical success it is among his favorite Cure albums. Genre: Alternative Rock. they never fully recovered after in the 90's. Wild Mood Swings is definitely a diverse album and it's fun to see their sound go this direction. Unfortunately, there are some really cheesy melodies and ideas on here Salsa Really. Fav Tracks: Want, Bare, Strange Attraction, Mint Car. Least Fav Tracks: The 13th, Round & Round & Round. Score: 5. 9 Okay
