Co-produced by Steve Lillywhite, Cross marks Luna Sea's first time working with a producer and Lillywhite's first time producing a Japanese act. Lillywhite is very happy with how Cross turned out and said he wants young kids to listen to it so it can set them on the path to good rock music as that seems to be dying out, especially in Western countries. The producer is open to working with Luna Sea again. He told the band that he will do something different on the next album, as he is convinced they can do different things and would like to see where they are going.
