I thought it would be watered down psuedo 50s latin, and this recording led me to think that Connie was in fact originally from Latin America. But no, she has genuinely learned Spanish and sung in a foreign language. It's not so much the pronunciation as the huge, rich latin voice that had me fooled. I am amazed that this recording is not extremely famous
