They have released four full-length albums and seven split EPs. Louisville, Kentucky's Young Widows formed in 2006 from the ashes of mathcore group Breather Resist. In December 2005, lead singer Steve Sidoni left Breather Resist, and guitarist Evan Patterson and bassist Nick Thieneman assumed the vocal duties. They entered the studio in early 2006 but found that their sound had changed significantly. They then changed the name from Breather. Album Name Coliseum - Young Widows. Type Split. Demo versions of four Coliseum songs are also included, but they serve to show just how quickly the group came together between 2003 and 2004. Theres a knuckle-gnawing desperation to these tinnier iterations that Patterson only intensified by the time they entered the garage w. Young Widows
