Producing electronic music since 2002, Irishman Chymera first started gaining wider recognition in 2006. His track Midnight at the Aquarium, sitting neatly at the juxtaposition of house and techno, forcefully announced his arrival on the international scene. As well as releasing his introspective album Death By Misadventure on Connaisseur, notable tracks like his house hit Curl on Dirt Crew Recordings and emotional techno epic Pump on Cocoon, have found their way into the hearts of many DJ's and fans around the world. It's no wonder that he's been personally approached to remix tracks by Moby, Funk D'Void, Alex Niggemann and HunterGame among others. Sonically, the album is heavily influenced by Wisternoffs eclectic tenure in the UK music scene. Launching his career in 1986 at the age of 13 as a finalist at the DMC World DJ Championship, Wisternoff honed his craft at the forefront of UK rave culture, playing warehouses for seminal promoters Fantazia and Universe, and hosting a residency at the iconic Lakota club in Bristol. After a chance encounter in a record store, Wisternoff joined forces with Nick Warren to form Way Out West. The luminary duo rose to fame in the 1990s with several UK-charting singles and a UK dance number one in. Wisternoff's debut solo album, Trails We Blaze, was released on 28 May 2012 on the Anjunadeep record label. The first single from the album, How You Make Me Smile featuring vocals from Pete Josef, was released two weeks prior to the full album release, on 15 May 2012. It was accompanied by an official video capturing the uplifting essence of the track.
