Nocturne is an album by American jazz musician Charlie Haden, released through UniversalPolygram in 2001. In 2002, the album won Haden the Grammy Award for Best Latin Jazz Album. Music critic David R. Nocturne may well be the best candlelight dinner music ever, but Haden and his guests are capable of more. Charlie Haden teams up once more with the young Cuban pianist Gonzalo Rubalcaba for this melancholy, soothing album. Ignacio Berroa, on drums and percussion, completes the core trio.
