Butler In The Hey is a fun and funky dance party band cranking out high energy ska, reggae jams, deep dub and percussive breaks. High octane front man and slave Michael Lacoste sings of alien ancestry, earth wisdom and corporate whoredom. In , BITH released a debut live album on cassette and 8-track cartridge only called You Rang and supported it with two short tours to the Kootenays in southeastern BC. A followup CD was released in 1995 called Philosophagus, but unable to retain a bass player packed it in the following year, with members moving on to other musical projects.
