Here Come the Noise Makers was the first live album by American singer and pianist Bruce Hornsby. It is a double album comprising songs recorded between 1998 and New Year's Eve 19992000. It was Hornsby's first album with his touring act the Noisemakers. The album not only captures the ambience of one of Hornsbys concerts, but also reflects the vibrant temperament and true stylistic diversity with which he approaches his craft, treating the live performance like a journey in search of the perfect. I was a bit disappointed by the songs chosen for this two disc live cd. Even though in the liner notes Hornsby thanks us long time fans and dedicates this recording to us, he forgot to choose better songs here. For Bruce fans, this is a great album, well recorded and really displays the musical virtuosity of the entire band. There is a great sense of space in this live album, the soundstage is very wide and you will feel like you're right there. Bruce is an amazingly talented musician and this album really lets him shine
