Cracked Actor Live Los Angeles '74 is a live album by English singer-songwriter David Bowie. It was released posthumously as a Record Store Day release on 22 April 2017 through Parlophone record label. Produced by Bowie and mixed by Tony Visconti, it was recorded on the Diamond Dogs Tour in September 1974, some material from which appeared in the BBC documentary Cracked Actor. This live album is culled from a show late in Davids Bowies 1974 tour. Its heavy on material from Diamond Dogs and Aladdin Sane and finds a drug-addled Bowie in a moment of transition. The Cracked Actor show September of 1974 is best viewed as transition on the way to Philly Dogs, but well worth picking up even if you own David Live. Read more. 86 people found this helpful. Only slight disappointment is that it would have been nice to have a gallery of pictures of the concert & the stage set in the CD booklet.
