London-based 'maximalist' producer, Bobby Tank, is a marked man, already counting the likes of Starkey, Pinboard Blog and Sonic Router as fans. His latest output, a neon-like 4-tracker, the ‘Afterburn EP’, will be released via MofoHifi Records and drops May 14th. Clearly influenced by UK dubstep, glitch-hop and 80s boogie, Bobby Tank's sound is buzzing with nostalgic synths, soulful, blenderized cut-ups, woven leads and atmospherics, thick with heavy bass pressure.

Now in their eighth year, east-London label MofoHifi has issued a steady stream of club-tracks, boutique electronica and artist led albums under the strap 'ElectrofunkinDiscobreakin'. The label is best known for discovering and developing Italian wunderkind producer, Phonat and can count the likes of Eats Everything, Shir Khan, Avicii, Shinichi Osawa, Bestrack and Norman Cook as fans.
