Short intro
Artie Glenn. Bobby Hatfield. In My Mind. I Love You for Sentimental Reasons: The Righteous Brothers. William Bounds, Deek Watson. What's the Matter Baby Is It Hurtin' You. Listen free to Bobby Hatfield The Other Brother - A Solo Anthology 1965-1970 Hang-Ups, Ebb Tide and more. 24 tracks 71:06. The Other Brother' perfectly, and in a poignant way sums up the album Bobby Hatfield had a very successful career with Bill Medley as one half of The Righteous Brothers and possessed a fine voice. However, when it came to solo recordings after the split of The Righteous Brothers, Bobby Hatfield had little success. When former partner Bill Medley had slowly tried to establish a name for himself in a solo career shortly after their split from The Righteous Brothers, his efforts were rewarded with 2 x top 50 singles in the charts out of his first 3 singles. You Get A Lot To Like. Written-By George Jackson 3Written-By, Producer Mickey Buckins. Show Me The Sunshine. Written-By Buddy Scott, Jimmy Radcliffe. Bobby and Bill had both been in other groups before teaming up, and both had issued solo 45s as early as 1963, but it wasnt until the duo joined Verve Records, post-Spector, that they began their solo careers in earnest, originally running parallel with recording as the Righteous Brothers. Bobby never had an album issued during the 60s. One was recorded and given a catalogue number, but it didnt reach the pressing plant. Add album to Cart. The collection also includes Bobbys 1970 album Messin In Muscle Shoals in its entirety. Bobbys solo career never took off in the way Bill Medleys did, but his lack of hits is in no way a reflection of musical 's solo work has been anthologized but this Ace release is the first time Hatfield has been afforded a CD showcasing his own massive and much-missed talents. Also included are six previously unissued tracks from the album sessions and elsewhere in his Verve discography, three of which were mixed for the first time from the original multi-tracks for this collection.
