Short intro

The album was released on October 22, 1976 by Capitol Records. Night Moves Remastered. Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band. Shame On The Moon - Продолжительность: 4:56. Текст песни: i was a little too tall could have used a few pounds tight pants points hardly reknown she was a black-haired beauty with big dark eyes points on her own settin way up Seger recorded the bulk of Night Moves before Live Bullet brought him his first genuine success, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that it's similar in spirit to the introspective Beautiful Loser, even if it rocks harder and longer. Throughout much of the album, he's coming to grips with being on the other side of 30 and still rocking. He floats back in time, turning in high-school memories, remembering when wandering down Mainstreet was the highlight of an evening, covering a rockabilly favorite in Mary Lou. Night Moves is the ninth album by American rock singer Bob Seger, and his first with The Silver Bullet Band. It was released in 1976. The album received immediate critical praise the Rolling Stone reviewer said that, If there is any grace in heaven, Night Moves will give Bob Seger the national following which has long eluded him. Propelled by the title song, which became a Top 10 hit single, and additional strong material, the album did just that. The album also featured the hit single Mainstreet with guitar work from Jimmy Johnson from the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section. Throwing together everything from roadhouse rave-ups Mary Lou to bittersweet, Van Morrison-style ballads Night Moves , the album stands as a monument to the power of rock n' roll at its most passionately direct, reveling in the past while still trying to cut loose in the present. Night Moves was Bob Segers first album with The Silver Bullet Band. Promoting him to superstar status, it sold over six million copies in the US. That situation changed dramatically when Capitol issued Night Moves on 22 October 1976. Assembled from fruitful Silver Bullet Band sessions in Detroit, and a quartet of songs recorded with the legendary Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section in Alabama, the album immediately picked up critical plaudits, with Rolling Stones reviewer Kit Rachlis bang on the money when he suggested, Night Moves offers rocknroll in the classic mould: bold, aggressive and grandiloquent
