It was released on the Ninja Tune label March 23, 2004. The entire album is instrumental with some scraps of vocal sampling. Apparently, Blockhead had finished this album three years prior, in 2001. Blockhead wasn't currently signed to a label, however, so he and his manager looked for a label to release the album. They eventually found Ninja Tune, sent them a demo, and the album was released.
