Short intro
Born Again is the eleventh studio album by English heavy metal band Black Sabbath. Released in August of 1983, it is the first and only album the group recorded with lead vocalist Ian Gillan, best known for his work with Deep Purple. It was also the last Black Sabbath album for nine years to feature original bassist Geezer Butler and the last to feature original drummer Bill Ward. Marmite comes to mind with this album. All i know that 1983 was one crazy year for Black Again - Black Sabbath. Engineered by Robin Black & Steve Chase. Ian Gillan had this to say about the Born Again sessions late in 2003 on his site. Some months ago I got this Sound Audigy gismo box to transfer anything analogue to digital. so I sat down with about 600 old cassettes and spent a couple of days sorting them news and bad newsI found loads of stuff that. Born Again is the eleventh studio album by Black Sabbath. It was recorded at The Manor Studio in Oxfordshire, England and released on August 7, 1983. It is the only album the band recorded with lead vocalist Ian Gillan, best known for his work with Deep Purple. It was also the last Black Sabbath album to feature original bassist Geezer Butler and original drummer Bill Ward, until they played the studio tracks on their live album Reunion. Born Again' is Black Sabbath's eleventh studio album, released in 1983. The album was recorded during the summer of 1983 at The Manor Studio in Shipton-on-Cherwell, Oxfordshire, England. A major criticism of the album is its production, which Iommi and Gillan have both said is abysmal. Gillan went as far as blaming Butler, who co-produced the album, for the awful sound quality. Born Again. Show lyrics. According to legend, the infamous cover art for this album was done by an artist who was working for both Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne, and the story goes that he made an intentionally poor job of it in the hope that Sabbath would reject it so that he could sever ties with them. As it turned out, Tony Iommi loved it although Ian Gillan thought it was appalling. Black Sabbath - Born Again Unmixed 1983. To favorites 1 Download album. Listen album. Heavy Metal. Black Sabbath. The album is an interesting anomaly in the bands catalog as it was the first album after the hugely well received Ronnie James Dio line-up ended and also featured former Deep Purple vocalist Ian Gillan handling vocals. While originally being panned by critics on release, the album is somewhat popular among fans for memorable tracks such as Trashed, Disturbing the Priest and Zero the HeroRelated to Black Sabbath - Born Again
