Hi hunters! I can't find information about 556.007 on a label anywhere. Everywhere I see only 56.007. Somebody knows something about the edition with 556.007? Thanks!

Most Ohr titles released between 1970 and '71 went through a second pressing that bore a catalog number that starts with "55" instead of "5". Like Tangerine Dream's Electronic Meditation was OMM 56.004 for the original, and OMM 556.004 for the second pressing. Some of the second pressings had modification of the packaging, like the second pressing of Electronic Meditation never came with a balloon (or the flap on the cover) and the second pressing of Alpha Centauri featured the "Tangerine Dream" banner on the front cover up on top (the original never featured the name "Tangerine Dream" anywhere on the front cover, just on the spine, inner gatefold and label). Ash Ra Tempel's debut retained the same gimmick packaging on both the original and second pressing. As for Annexus Quam's Osmose, I seriously believe it never went through a second pressing as I never seen any evidence, online, or in the flesh of a second Ohr pressing (actually I never seen an original LP of this in the flesh, except for the copy I bought, at a record fair). There was one entry on Popsike allegedly selling a copy with the OMM 556.007 catalog number (but as usual, no photo of the label or back cover), but I believe it was just the case of the seller used to Ohr titles starting with "55" instead of "5" in the catalog number. BTW, I forgot to add on that Guru Guru's Hinten is the first Ohr title to bear the "OMM 55" catalog number exclusively.

Formed in '67 as a free jazz-fusion group. OSMOSE was recorded after a world tour, and is a mixture of jazz/rock/cosmic music. Out of the four tracks, Seite 2 is the best. It starts with piano and a spicy backdrop building into a very rocking cosmo-rock piece (similar to some Ash Ra Tempel). Worthy addition. Note: The review we submitted was in fact a lot longer than this, but Chris cut it down to fill in the end of a page!by Alan & Steve Freeman, first published in Face Out ca. 1978-79Google translation of the cover notes...Annexus QuamKollektivI.A.G. BeckStory? In September 1967, we established some musicians in Kamp-Lintfort, the band "Ambition of Music". We replaced the current beat pieces soon by his own compositions. In order to extend our knowledge of the music and musical skills, we played in the spring of 1968 at the evangelical Trombone Choir, among other modern church concerts.During this time, the musical work began in the youth organization SJD - The Hawk - and it was followed by guest appearances in Holland and Joguslawien. The Association then introduced us to the "Underground Center" in Kamp-Lintfort available.Function?Meanwhile, the interaction had radically changed. We realized that we were too restricted by the many clichés and rules. We went back to the elementary music areas such as dynamics, rhythm and intensity, trying to expand our own design possible-ties in these areas through awareness exercises. We also related noise, lighting effects, films and modern poetry in the sound designs and collective improvisations. In the "Underground Center" we played this music for a young audience to get it to respond to our music function and the conception of music in society: We gave them the opportunity to express themselves freely, or music to operate while musically. In July 1970, wure gave some concerts in Japan (Toyko, Toyama, Kanazawa) and played for two days during the World Expo in Osaka in the Auditorium of the German Pavilion.Name?Due to our musical development new contemporary forms out, the group changed its name and chose "Annexus Quam" Our new name "Annexus Quam" comes from the Latainischen and is translated as connection. He characterizes so our music when we try to connect existing and new forms of music to each other on the basis of collective improvisation.Music?About Music:Music is the imaginative order of acoustic material and thus an expression of man as the language of painting and the visual arts. It makes us participate in the life and work of a mind that is an ordering, invigorating and creative. In order to meet this demand in music can, it is necessary to move away from the forms of reproduction and realize their own ideas.Osmosis? The piece "osmosis" (Greek. Diffusion through a semipermeable wall) is a musical process that the listener relations between the players showing that communicate with each other. Each musician is autonomous and, through its contribution individually and spontaneously in the overall musical events.Cover? The cover image is one of the possible associations that may arise in our music; because music can not be determined in their effect on the individual; everyone hears and feels it differently.
