I just dont get why everyone jocks this band SO much Sure they play a more aggressive style of youth crew, and the lyrics aren't your cliched posi edge type lyrics but musically I don't really find it much different than other bands of this style. What you need to know is that American Nightmare play fast and furious hardcore. Not emo-core, rap-core, metal-core or any of that claptrap. 5 songs in about 7 minutes including a Cro-Mags cover. After you get this, go look for records by The Trouble. Give up the Ghost originally American Nightmare were a hardcore punk band from Boston. Signed to Bridge 9 records, GUTG only ever released two full albums in their short 5 year lifespan, but both those albums are considered masterpieces in the hardcore punk genre.
