Alka's third full-length but first for the wider world of distributed records matches sleek, moody techno with atmospheric samples and effects evoking late nights on deserted streets or in disused manufacturing facilities. Percussion-wise, some tight Autechre-like loops or sounds pulse in, but for the most part, it's the numbing techno kick-snare combo that is more prevalent.
