The 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration is a live double-album release in recognition of Bob Dylan's 30 years as a recording artist. Recorded on October 16, 1992, at Madison Square Garden in New York City, it captures most of the concert, which featured many artists performing classic Dylan songs, before ending with three songs from Dylan himself. The house band for the show were the surviving members of Booker T. and the MG's: Booker T. Jones on organ, Donald Duck Dunn on bass, and Steve Cropper. The 30th Anniversary Celebration is a live EP by the American heavy metal band Metallica. The EP was recorded live on December 9 and 10, 2011 at Fillmore Theatre, San Francisco, California. Metallica celebrated its 30th anniversary by playing four shows at the Fillmore in San Francisco. The shows were exclusive only to Met Club members and tickets were only being charged at 6 or for all four nights. On October 16, 1992, an impressive and eclectic group of artists gathered at Madison Square Garden in New York City for the purpose of celebrating the music of Bob Dylan on the occasion of his 30th anniversary of recording. Bringing together musical greats as far-flung as Johnny Cash and Eddie Vedder, The Clancy Brothers and Lou Reed, the four-hour show celebrated a truly remarkable lifetime of songs in front of a sold-out audience of over 18,000.
