The first CD covers all of the UK Singles Chart hits from Adam Ant's career with and without the Ants from 19801990, beginning with Young. Adam and the Ants were a new wave band during the late 1970s and early 1980s. It was one of the bands at the time that marked the transition from the '70s punk rock era to the new-wave post punk-music era. Although the band started off with a punk-influenced sound, it soon moved on to New Wave motivated by new sources such as the drum-heavy Burundi Beat heard on Dog Eat Dog. Their lone really good album, Kings Of The Wild Frontier, is well represented here. The digital remaster does enhance the flat sounding CD's from Ant's career, and maybe a notch better than Antics. The CD features 22 tracks with 12 from the band days and 10 solo Adam tracks.
